Behavioral Associates of Central Florida and REACH Academy now enrolling students in the Accelerated Individualized Mastery Programs

Climbing a mountain is never easy; but imagine trying to climb one without the right tools.  Sound difficult?  Frustrating?  This is precisely how learning feels for many children who have not been given the right tools to succeed.

REACH Academy’s Accelerated Individualized Mastery (AIM) programs combine the science and methods of Precision Teaching and Direct Instruction with a Personalized System of Instruction framework to meet the special needs of a variety of learners including those who are struggling, gifted, have learning disabilities, processing disorders or ADHD/ADD.

In each case teaching methods are individualized to maximize performance and help each child attain mastery learning.  This requires learners to achieve fluent performances in foundational skills making subsequent and more complex skills easier to learn and master.

Our methods utilize scientifically validated techniques to help children reach academic goals.  Each student works one on one with a “learning guide” who helps strengthen the cooperative learning relationship and assures that the learner retains the skills taught, can perform with endurance for extended periods, and can apply these to new situations.

The AIM reading program helps children become strong, life-long readers.  This program teaches reading fundamentals that are necessary for improved decoding, fluency (processing) and comprehension.

The AIM math program gives students all the tools they need to be successful math superstars.  This program teaches math fundamentals and targets fluency levels that are necessary for improved numeration, computation, and problem solving.

Ongoing assessment is part of every child’s program as is motivation, which helps even the most frustrated learners want to achieve.

If you have or know of a child who would benefit from this one-of-a-kind evidence-based learning program, please have them contact our office immediately to arrange an intake appointment.  Space is limited, but the amount of progress a child can make is ONLY limited by what tools we give them.
